FEFKA Art directors union was formed in middle of disputes and conflict of Malayalam Film Industry .It was formed as Art Directors Union on 2009 November at a general meeting of Art directors and assistant Art directors of Malayalam Film industry held at Y.M.C.A hall, Cochin. On the Same day there formed FEFKA, Art Directors Union decided to affiliate them to FEFKA and get recognized by IIF. The Union is of a purely non-political and non-communal nature. Mr Sreeni was elected as the President and Mr. Joseph Nellickal was elected as the General Secretary for the first Union.
